Terms governing your use of Proxe
Overview
By using Proxe (website and Android app), you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Community Guidelines. Please read them carefully.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Proxe. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to make pledges, pay money, or receive payouts. If you are 13–17, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf, and you may not use payment features.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
Using the platform
Proxe lets you create and participate in ideas and challenges, make pledges, submit proof, and interact with other users. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe others' rights or restrict their use of the platform.
Pledges and payments
When you make a pledge, you agree to our Refund Policy. Cards are authorized up front and charged when a challenge is completed according to platform rules. Proxe may retain a platform fee; the rest is paid to the winning creator through Stripe Connect. Payments are processed by Stripe, not Google Play Billing. Idea boosts (paid visibility) are sold on the website only, not in the Android app.
By pledging or connecting Stripe, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method and that you meet the age rules above.
Content and conduct
You agree not to post illegal, harmful, abusive, or misleading content. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any content that sexualizes minors are strictly prohibited — see our Child Safety Standards. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute content you submit as needed to operate and promote the platform. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or our policies.
Prohibited phrases in ideas
We may maintain a list of words or phrases that are not allowed in idea titles or descriptions. If your content includes a listed phrase, you will not be able to create, update, or publish the idea until you change the text. The list is set by site administrators and may change from time to time.
Intellectual property
The Proxe name, logo, and platform are our property. You may not copy, modify, or use our branding without permission. You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the license above.
Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Outcomes of ideas and challenges depend on users and verification; we do not guarantee any particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from pledges, charges, or refunds. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or for other reasons we determine in good faith. You may stop using the platform and delete your account from Settings at any time.
